10.1: Their first child was a girl. She was very intelligent and active. She began to grow older, and one day, at the age of sixteen, she had a chat with her mother.

"Where shall I find a husband?" She asked.

"You shall marry your brother." Said the mother, "When he is old enough."

"But what if I don't want to marry my brother?"

"Why would anyone not want to marry their brother? Anyway, there's no choice for you. You, your father, your brother, and I, are the only people in the entire world."

But the girls suspected her mother was lying. So she went to her father.

"Father." She said, "Are there other people in the world?"

"Yes." Her father said. "But they are all far away across the vast ocean, so you needn't worry about them.

"How do you know?" She asked.

"We used to live there too. But we sailed away in our boat, long long, ago."

The girl went down to the beach one night when the moon was full, and sat in the boat, gazing out over the ocean. If I am to find a husband, she thought, it would have to be across that wide sea.
