37.2 The boy sat and stayed up the whole night, shivering and clacking his teeth together. In the morning he groggily began walking.
"I want to get out of this forest." He said.
He started walking, but after a little while, with the forest getting no thinner, he stopped.
"I wonder if this is the right way." He said. Turning, he began to walk another direction. After a while, he stopped.
"Say, this doesn't seem right." And them he turned and walked in yet another direction. And he did this several times, until he heard a voice behind him.
"What are you doing?" He saw a seven foot tall person with one eye standing behind him.
"I'm trying to find a way out of the forest."
"You won't find one that way. Follow me, I'll show you the way. I just came here to check my man trap."
"Did you catch anything?" Asked the boy, nervously.
"No, darn it!" Said the cyclops. "I'm really hoping I catch one soon, I've never seen a human before, and I'm so curious to learn what they look like."
"Well, they look very differently than I do."
"Of course!" Said the cyclope, with a laugh. "I know you're not a man, because you're not in the trap!" And he gestured for the boy to follow him.
They walked in silence for a while. As they reached the outskirts of the forest, the cyclope stopped for a moment. He bent down to examine a small plant.
"Do you know what this is?" The cyclope asked.
